On January 20, 2025, in the picturesque natural setting of the Risorgive del Bacchiglione in Dueville (Vicenza), the LIFE Svolta Blu project will officially launch. This innovative European project is dedicated to the protection and sustainable management of water.

The chosen location is not accidental: it is one of the main recharge points for the aquifers in the Vicenza plain – a concrete symbol of the approach the project aims to promote, based on knowledge, collaboration, and innovation.

Promoted by Viacqua as the lead partner and funded by the European Union through the LIFE – Climate Governance and Information programme, LIFE Svolta Blu will involve a network of strategic actors, including universities, irrigation consortia, public bodies, and certification organisations. The main objective: to test a shared and transparent water management system, including the implementation of a voluntary “blue credit” market.
