LIFE Svolta Blu will be at the workshop “River and Wetland Remediation and Restoration: An Opportunity for Climate Change Adaptation"!

24 April 2025

📅 On May 6, 2025, the LIFE Svolta Blu project will be among the Italian experiences presented during the international workshop “River and Wetland Remediation and Restoration: An Opportunity for Climate Change Adaptation,” scheduled at the Natural History and Archaeological Museum of Vicenza.

Representing the project will be Paolo Ronco, Head of the Research and Innovation Department at Viacqua and Scientific Coordinator of LIFE Svolta Blu, who will explain the innovative blue credit approach for sustainable water resource management.

The workshop will take place as part of a visit to Italy by a group of experts – biologists, ichthyologists, agronomists, and foresters – from Sweden and Finland, involved in the LIFE TRIWA project, which focuses on the ecological rehabilitation of the Torne River, on the border between the two countries. The aim is to improve water quality and the climate adaptation of river ecosystems.

📣 A significant event to promote European cooperation on the environment, inland waters, and climate resilience!
