
On October 23, 2025, a free training course will be held at the Risorgive del Bacchiglione in Dueville (VI), dedicated to companies that want to reduce their water footprint and strengthen their commitment to environmental sustainability.
The initiative, carried out as part of the European LIFE Svolta Blu project, is specifically aimed at artisanal and industrial companies that make significant use of water in their production processes. The goal is to provide concrete tools to measure their impacts, improve water resource management, and enhance environmental commitment in communication with stakeholders and funders.
The course, titled "Monitoring, Verification, and Reduction of Water Footprint," will be structured in two modules:
Module 1 – Water Protection and Water Footprint Measurement (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
This session will cover methodologies for measuring water footprint according to the UNI ISO 14046 standard. Experts from Viacqua and Etifor will be involved in the discussions.
Module 2 – Reduction of Water Footprint and Sustainability Strategy (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM)
The afternoon session will focus on technical and regulatory tools to reduce or offset water consumption in companies, while also highlighting how these actions can serve as elements of compliance and competitive advantage. Speakers will include representatives from Etifor, Viacqua, and REF Ricerche.

The training will be delivered in-person, with the option to participate remotely via the Teams platform. Participation is free, and a final certificate will be issued.
