On November 11, 2025, at Palazzo Bonin Longare in Vicenza, the seminar “The Ecological Transition in Businesses for the Protection of Biodiversity” will take place — an event dedicated to companies and local stakeholders interested in exploring topics related to sustainability, circular economy, and the protection of natural capital.
During the meeting, Paolo Ronco, Head of the Research and Innovation Department at Viacqua S.p.A. and Scientific Coordinator of the LIFE Svolta Blu project, will present best practices and perspectives on sustainable innovation in water management, highlighting the strategic role of businesses in protecting local biodiversity.
As part of this innovative LIFE project, companies will play a central role in testing a pioneering model of “blue credits” — a system that rewards those who reduce water consumption or invest in conservation and efficiency solutions, creating a virtuous market of compensation and collaboration among businesses, citizens, and public institutions.
The seminar marks the launch of the project promoted by Niuko – the training and consulting company of Confindustria Vicenza, carried out with the support of the Vicenza Chamber of Commerce. It represents an important opportunity to foster dialogue between the business community, institutions, and local communities.
